Parenting a teenager is challenging, but parenting a gluten-free teenager adds a whole new layer of complexity.
Karen Horan (mom of celiac child) and Bridget Marr (Registered Dietician and Nutritionist) will be giving a joint talk at the Gluten-Free Singapore Support Group Meeting on Wednesday, 13 March.
Karen, will share insights into the social and emotional aspects of raising a gluten-free teen. She'll delve into understanding how teenagers feel about their gluten-free lifestyle and offer strategies to help them cope with dietary restrictions without hindering their social life or emerging independence.
Bridget will share tips for promoting a peaceful relationship with food, reducing the risk of disordered eating, and recognizing the warning signs.

The location is a short walk from the Sixth Avenue MRT. Specific directions will be sent with the confirmation email.
What goes on at a support group meeting?
We start and end each meet up with a time to meet, connect, and share with the gluten-free tribe.
Each meeting will explore an interesting topic and give you plenty of chances to socialize with other gluten-free individuals in your area.
